Noist Lifters? Maybe Not

Thanks for the feedback on the noise AFTER the lifters were replaced.  I
feel confident after looking, feeling and listening closer that the noise is
coming from the vacuum pump rod hitting the cam lobe between cylinders 2 and
3.  I'm glad my motor is not about to launch internals.  I will be
investigating the options in more detail and keep everyone posted on the
options.  Would this be "Silence of the Slams?" 

After the 15" of snow last night I had a ball coming to work slideways!  I
felt like John Buffum on his way to work :-) (except I was probably a lot
slower).
