My apologies........I am only familiar with a 85 4000S (North  
America) which
has the 1.8 liter 4cyl. engine, but it is fuel injected. Are you  
saying that
yours is carburated? If so, that's news to me.......I thought all  
85 Audis
were fuel injected.........

My March 85 is definitely not fuel injected. I guess they didnt  
produce the carbarated model for the yanks, only the Euro  
models.Probably something to do with the american image, and also  
why they changed the model numbers cos the americans wouldnt have  
bought so many if the model numbers were just 80's and 100's.
