Re: Source for TMS2532-45JL EPROMS

FYI, in case anyone else cares:

   I was looking through the IC Master to find out who might still build
   2532 EPROMs and found that there is a company called The Krueger Company

The verdict is in; Jameco carries TMS2532A EPROMs (Jameco part # 33591).
They do indeed work just fine in the MAC-02.

   * * * WARNING * * *

The TMS2532A EEPROMs are ***21*** volt parts, and NOT 25 volt parts
(standard 2532 are 25-volt programming voltage)!! If you try to
program a 2532A as a 2532 you fry the chip! (Fortunately, it only took
me one chip to figure this out...thank goodness my programmer lets me
change the programming voltage!). If your programmer does not distin-
guish between the 2532 and 2532A, approach with caution! Be sure and
change the programming from 25 volts to 21 volts!
