Re: Coupe Brake Light



I'll vouch for Gene's solution stated below..  Had the same problem on both
sides on my 86 Coupe and fixed it the same way..  As a matter of fact had
the same problem on a tail light assembly on my now parted 84 VW Jetta. The
Germans have some good engineering in their cars, but the plastic tail light
assembly isn't included.

I had the same problem.  Check the plastic housing holding the light
>bulbs.  The metal circuitry is secured to the housing with plastic
>(melted) welds.  Look for broken welds or any location where the
