Benjawan,
Be careful not to jump to conclusions. I have seen wheels "out
of round" on a tire machine (the proprieter claiming it was absolutely
necessary to replace the $X00.00 Corvette wheel, of course) ony to find
out later that their machine was not true. There are very FEW tire
balancing machines in Michigan that actually have tooling that is true!
I would take it to another balancing shop that has a better reputation,
and then I still wouldn't trust them until they did a good job. One
thing to try, if they will cooperate, is to turn the wheel 90 degrees on
the balancer, then balance it again. This may show up if the machine is
true or not.
I would think those ABT wheels would be very strong. Don't chuck
'emm just yet.
