Oil Pressure light control

I notice that my '83 TQC has the socket for the two stage oil pressure relay
that is used in other audi's. Everything seems to be there except the wiring
for the other switch, and maybe a pinout swap.  I am tempted to hook up the
higher pressure switch and use this relay. Has anyone else already done this?
