Computer / Reset Switch

This may be in the archive, but I can't find it.

The dash switch for computer function selection / reset had a burned
out light.  So, in a fit of enthusiasm I yanked it out of the dash
and carefully took it apart.  

    *Pfthpth*

Besides two light bulbs that are soldered in place, there are
three springs and about 5 springy contacts that wave all over.
So far I haven't succeeded in getting it back together so that
it even begins to function - let alone make the click when you
press the sides for function selection ...

Has anybody succeeded in putting one of these back together correctly?
