Ben K: Don't give up on your wheels yet.  Even if they are bent, 
there are specialty businesses who *can* straighten cast wheels.  If 
it turns out they really are bent, start asking questions about where 
to find one.  I have read discussions of this before and it sounds 
like it can be done.
