springs/struts

        I need new shocks/struts on my car, and I was going to go ahead and
put on new springs while I was at it. I would like some progressive springs,
that will lower the car ~1 inch. I would also like some shocks that are a
little stiffer than OEM shocks, but not too harsh.
        I was wondering what other people have put on their car, how well
they work, too hard? too soft? Etc..

        I am looking at a set of 'Spax' springs/shocks. They are $535 for a
set of non-adjustable shocks, $695 for '24 way' adjustable shocks. These
seem like pretty decent prices, and if they do the job..

So any suggestions, experiences, etc, Thanks in advance..
