I'm here, Mike.  Been there.  Done that.  Thank God the trip odometer wasn't
one of my problems.  :-)  But, believe me, I'm an expert on instrument
cluster removal and replacement.

I deleted the original post so, whoever you are, if help is needed, please
contact me directly.

BTW, the speedo is *STILL WORKING OK*!!!!   XXX  I think it's truly
repaired.  :-)  (Crossed fingers.)
