I bought a set of the 55/100W bulbs out of the back of Autoweek. At low
beam there is very little difference, and at high beam there is some
improvement. Nothing like the four Hellas installed on my Chevy Van or
Cibie's on my 240Z, but a lot less expensive - I think it is also the
reflector, lense design, beam dispersion, etc. - Real world testing? - I
can still drive around "testing" with my high beams on and few people will
flash to say it's too bright... :-)

Food for thought: A friend of mine bought a set of Euro lights for his Mazda
323GT (250hp! & for sale) cheap while on vacation in Bermuda or Bahamas or
one of the exotic islands. I don't think my wife would allow me to do that
"parts run".
