A recent post about climate control reminded my that sometimes the climate 
control on my '86 gets confused.  Typically this means that the fan won't run.  
The solution is the same as with any other computer - reboot.  Shutting the
engine down for a few seconds at a stop light and restarting seems to 
cure most ills!

The other alternative is to force the fan on by switching into defrost 
mode.  Once the fan is running, the system can be switched back into econ 
or auto and it seems to work fine.  

Does anybody else have to do stupid stuff like this to stay warm?
