Doubt you will find a difference is quality of light or assembly in the
Cibie/Marshall and the Hella apps in Euro "H" bulb trim. BTW, the
Cibie/Marshall company no longer has a US dealer network, Hella does. C/M of
the "euro" variety are a specialty source item for US sales. I ran Cibie
Driving for years (prorally sponser), but switched to Hella when I switched
to street driving becuz of cost..... Just about all true Hi performance
market lites today are Hella's. In fact, the Rallye 2000 is a 15year old
design that still has little competition in the driving lite market. I
found, comparing the two, that the build quality is the same between the two
vendors, and that the light quality is top notch for either.
The only lite that C/M has hand over fist to the Hella's is the Oscar 190
series lites. I have yet to find a better light for the buck, my R2000
excluded course. But at 7" vs 10" a much easier lite to add to the qship
factor.....
