The "U" shaped clip is to pull off the center cap on some of the alloy wheel
designs, to gain access toe the lug nuts.  Not all Audi wheels use a center
cap, but the 10 pfennig clip is in the tool kit because it is easier to throw
it into all cars than to figure out which has what wheel.

Fit the two right angle tips of the "U" into a similar pair of holes in the
perimiter of the center cap and use the lug wrench through the loop of the
"U" to lever it off.
