Just a small factual correction to your TT comments:

The TT/TTS and a new Audi model which (will be named the A3) are both based
on the new Volkswagen corporate platform which will also spawn the next
generation Golf.  Perversely, and certain to cause confusion for years to
come, the new Golf carries the internal designation A4, not to be confused
with the Audi model named A4 (the current Golf/Jetta is internally dubbed the
A3).

The Audi A3 (on the internally named A4 platform) will actually come to
market before Volkswagen's Golf.  So what spawns what?

Anyway, I'm sure nomenclature confusion will reign, yet these are the facts.
