Some answers to questions - sort of:

Do you park a car in a garage in winter or leave it outside?

Better to park it as long as the garage does not get much above 40 deg.F. Once
it does, the galvanic action of the salt and moisture in the air and on the
car, will accelerate the rust process. At this temp, however your o/s temp is
probably above freezing and you can do a pretty good job on cleaning the
undercarrige. However watch ot for parking outside for other reasons. Every
start with cold soaked oil and block accelerates wear substantially. I saw a
Rover mini need a rebore in 15,000 miles when parked exclusively outside for 18
months, short trips etc. Also these starts really push the battery!

Whats wrong with Hella OEM Ow Dee lights?

Nothing! Honest! Its just that Owdee would not spend the money to re-engineer
them for US specs as to glass and performance. The 9004 lamps do not align with
the reflector and the glass absorbs light. The Euros are much better and
present the cost effective change, even at +/- $1000 incl. labor. Any one with
a better suggestion, please come forward because I have been reseaarching this
since my 86 purchase of a 4KQ.
