Rear lid locking system

Hi all,
I've just noticed something strange (bad).  The central locking 
system does not lock the rear lid.  Yes, I am sure the key cylinder 
position is horizontal.
I don't know whether the after market alarm system that was installed 
six months ago have anything to do with it.  I only found out this 
problem by accident.  
Does anyone know how the rear lid lock system tide in with the 
central lock system ?
Is it pneumatic ?
Is there anything that might be frozen, stuck, etc ???

The rear lid lock in "vertical" position.
