Jeremy,

DANGEROUS.  I've been in that situation (unintentionally) and they don't
always hop back.  As a matter of fact, I've been passing a car on rural
interstate with less than a car length between me and the car I am passing
(not the one in front of me).  This Do-Do comes up beside me on the right
and pulls into that hole that is   n't too small for him.  Do I save my spot
in traffic for an 80 mph fender bender.  NO.
