1991 100 4-speed auto gear ratios...

My father's 1991 100 has a 4-speed automatic and I noticed this weekend that
60mph takes 2950rpm, which strikes me as being a bit on the high side. Does
anyone know what the gear ratios are in this thing? According to my Bentley
for the 80/90/Coupe, 4th gear on the Type 097 used in these cars is actually
an overdrive, with 1st through 3rd being the same as in the 3-speed Type 087
tranny. By my calculations, 2950rpm @ 60mph works out to a 3.70:1 ratio and
since this is about what *3rd* gear should be, I'm wondering if it's getting
into 4th at all ... it certainly seems to be shifting through all the gears,
but the 3-4 shift happens almost simultaneously (that said, the rpms DO drop
about 800 at the same time). Any input?

BTW, does anyone know of a good mail-order source for rebuilt automatics for
these cars? Assuming mine gets repaired (the '87 5ktqw that I located was a
bust: $5500 and it still needs at least $1k worth of odds-n-ends), I need to
address this and in order to minimize downtime, I'd like to do it while it's
in the bodyshop ... unfortunately, I don't know of any reputable local shops
that will perform just the rebuild without doing the removal/installation as
well.

As always...
