A New Toy!

As of this evening, I'm no longer an honorary member of the quattro list.  I
bought a 1989 200 tq from its original owner (92k, pearl white, mesh alloys,
full service history, etc.) for $8200 ... it's in excellent condition but in
need of a thorough cleaning.  Oh, yeah ... there's also a small crack in the
passenger seat leather and a couple of minor door dings but I think it was a
pretty good deal, all things considered.  BTW, I didn't think it any car had
worse headlights than my '87 5k but now I know better ... these things stink
BIG TIME!

Anyway, I'm gambling that Allstate's adjuster will decide to total my '87 5k
tomorrow when he (finally) gets around to looking at it ... I'm still hoping
to buy it back so if you're looking for any parts, let me know.  :^)
