automatic climate control display
I hope you Audi gurus out there can shed some light on the following:
The automatic climate control display on my A4Q has changed as follows:
i) When I first got the car (ie. January 5, 1996) and pressed the 'AUTO'
button, the 'snowflake' on the automatic climate control display was not
illuminated indicating that the compressor was not engaged.
ii) When I now drive the car (ie. On or after January 17) and press the
'AUTO' button, the 'snowflake' on the automatic climate control display is
illuminated indicating that the compressor is engaged.
iii) To this end:
a) Why the sudden change in the automatic climate control display?
b) Which automatic climate control display is correct?
c) How does weather conditions (ie. Humidity, temperature, etc.)
effect the compressor setting when the 'AUTO' button is pressed?
d) How can I check that the climate control is working properly?
TIA,
Joel
