3 1/16" I think.  If you check a Rapid Parts catalog it
lists the sizes.  BTW, I'm still looking for one of these 
plates (not necessarily gauges) to retrofit into my 4000q.
I may just wedge a voltmeter where the ashtry goes but I'd
like to have oil pressure too...
