Windshield Washers

The front windshield washer system on my '89 200TQW is not functioning
correctly.  Fluid trickles out the jet nozzles with insufficient pressure to
make it to the windshield.  I have:  replaced the motor; cleaned/checked the
hoses; attempted to clean out the jets; and checked the check valve to no
avail.  I would appreciate receiving any other suggestions from list members.
 In addition, I note that the washer jets include electrical connections, I
would appreciate learning what the connections are for.
