Never before offered in the US market, maybe.

I've personally seen an European spec 1992 Audi 80 with the
express up feature on the driver's door.
It was in Italy, and the car belongs to my uncle.

Me, I'd love to have express up retrofitted to my 1995 A6.
I'd like to do it the right way, by figuring out what relay(s)
and wiring changed in the US models from 95 to 96 and retrofitting
the changes to my car.  Probably have to wait a while to do it.

Another case of the old "generic owners manual for more than one
market that describes features that aren't available in some places."
