Detroit Auto Show

A couple posts have talked about the Detroit Auto Show.

Can someone who's close to Detroit tell me what the dates
of the auto show are (eg. runs from now to Jan xxx) and
any other information that might be useful to know if I
try to drive up and take a visit?  (like, what convention
center is it at, directions, parking information, best time
to go, rush hour times on weekdays and weekends, etc.)

I'm thinking of driving up from Columbus OH to Detroit MI
this weekend or next to have a look.
