Lee,

	There is a good possibility that this car was imported privately, 
and may be a Euro spec car.  Side markers are required in Europe, but not 
here, so many Euro manufacturers delete them for the American market, 
since they don't look really nice.

	Here at Cadillac, you can tell a Euro Spec Seville/Eldorado a 
mile away, because it has side markers, orange turn signal lenses beside 
the headlights, orange tailights, and hedalights with a sharp cutoff, and 
rise up to the right.  You can see the flutes in the headlight lenses 
that accomplish the "Euro" beam pattern.
