I've got one and as soon as I get finished haggling with Allstate over its
value (they totalled it), I'll be parting it out.  Since every time I have
stored a compressor to use at a later date, it always ends up failing, I'm
inclined to be smart and sell this one this time.  Make me an offer...

You raise a valid point but the other side of this issue is that some people
are expecting an awful lot for nothing ... if they can't be bothered to do a
bit of homework themselves, then why should I bother to do it for them?  I'm
generally happy to help but I don't like being used or taken advantage of...

I don't know if I'm the person to whom you're referring but I was working on
a project similar to what you describe.  Unfortunately, now that my 5k is no
more and my 200tq uses a different light assembly, this project has been put
on a back-burner.   If you want them, my clear plastic covers are available;
I paid $39.95 plus shipping but I'll take $25 for them, delivered.  They are
new and unused, and still in the box...
