Rip-off?!?!

Thanx, I dragged my friend down here today and shoved his fac into my
terminal screen.   he's not a beleiver (yet) but at least he shut up!
Thanks to all who helped in this noble quest.  
 One additional question: I saw a '92 100 (base) no quattro, no sunroof,
cloth int, 57k miles, pure base for sale at a local dealership.   He wanted
$15,900 for it.   I laughed and walked away.  Is it me or was that over
