Well, it's not V6 -- but anyway. The worst one I've ever seen is the 5.8
liter V8 used in '80-'85 Cadillac Seville. For 5.8 liters, it produced
105bhp with 205 ft-lb torque. Talk about horrible efficiency ("Yeah, so
your engine is bigger than mine -- so what?"). I just hape people who
compare engine sizes (or how many pots) and tell me what a "winnie"
engine I got.
I don't think the U.S. Big Three will ever produce world-class efficient
engine for another 20 years or so -- they're just beginning to discover
SOHC/DOHC technology. Heck, look at their "top" cars -- almost all are
using pushrods. Gag.
