83tqc handling inquirypart 2

thanks to all those who answered my initial mail. It sounds like shocks are
the way to go altho I'm interested to know if anyone feels the change to 84
shocks which I think will lower the car 1/2 inch are are slightly firmer is
worth it. My car has recently had all the susp bushings done + align, it has
no rear fact sway bar installed. As to shocks, any opinions on
konis(settings?) vs bilsteins vs other would be appreciated. Some of this
stuff may be in archives but my computer or me cannot seem to retrieve
Thanks! I'm interested in all discussions pertaining to ur-quattros! Mine is
an 83, chipped, otherwise stock except for recent change to 86 long block
when my original motor blew a hole in cylinder head( 4-5 cyl) and top of 4
piston for unclear reasons-gas analysis pending. Note to bgunn@voicetek-I'm
in the club -love to talk quattros anytime.
