Paint problems on a '93 90
Hello,
I had a car I was considering for purchase at the mechanics on friday. Under fluoresent lights
you could see what looked like pock marks on the paint. These marks on not noticable in the day light
unless the light is just right. I went to a body shop and they thought it could be acied rain.
I am wondering if anyone else has had this same problem. The car was from the east coast, if that
makes a difference. I am also wondering what long term problems I may have if I purchase the car.
Also the dealer said they would have it painted if I wanted them to. I rather not buy a car that has
been repainted. I believe this causes problems with the galvinisation on the sheet metal? The only
reason I am considering the car is that it is mechanicly flawless, with 35,000 miles on it. It is just
the paint that may present a problem.
Thanks for any input.
