Harvey:
Your Coupe Q must have been talking to mine. The light on
the VDO oil temp gauge recently died on my car. I'm waiting
for warmer weather before I consult the Bentley Manual. Based
on my previous experience with VDO gauges, replacing the bulb
will be easy....
When you can get at it...
It may involve removing the A/C controller head and the Radio
or just the lower console...
Usually the more difficult method is the Audi way....
I think that Dorab (Nivi@aol.com) posted a method of removing
the console sometime within the last two months..
Good Luck!
