Get together at the Behring Museum (Danville, CA USA)

I just wanted to send a quick notice to the list about a get together that
is planned for this weekend, Saturday 24 February at the Behring Museum in
Danville, California. The Behring museum has a number (~110?) of classic
cars on display and they are currently hosting an exhibit called "Mercedes-
Benz, 110 Years of Excellence," and is running through the end of March.
The museum is located in Blackhawk Plaza in Danville. To get to the museum
take I-680 toward Danville and take the Sycamore Valley Road exit. Proceed
east for 4.75 miles, turning left at Blackhawk Plaza Circle (and Blackhawk
Plaza). Hope to see you there, and feel free to invite anyone you think
would be interested in attending ... they can even be MBZ pilots :)

The guided tour is scheduled to begin at 12 noon. The cost for admission
will be $5 for adults and $3 for students (age 7 - college) & seniors (65+),
which is discounted from the standard rate. For those of you in the South
Bay area I was planning to meet at the south end of the parking lot at the
shopping center near where I-880 and 237 meet (actually north of the
McCarthy exit from 237) at 10:30 am on Saturday. My plan is for us to
arrive at the museum sometime between 11:15 and 11:45. For those of you
that do not know me, I'm a male, 6'4" tall and have dark hair and a beard.
If I'm not wearing an Audi cap, you might be able to notice that the hair
on top of my head is starting to thin a bit ;). Oh yeah, I'll be driving
a "red" 1983 QTC that was nice and clean until yesterday! I will have
some *1995* Audi Sport Calendars at the meeting. Hey, June 1995 is very
much like February 1996! :-)

After the tour there will probably be a few of us getting together to talk
about the Northern California Chapter of QCUSA and recent developments over
lunch.

If you let me know if you are planning to attend and if you will be meet-
ing us in the South Bay and I'll try to make sure that you are aboard!
