Good time to replace it, near enough to 60K, so far so good......

If your car was starting fine EVERY TIME before this, your pinion is 
probably OK. If yuo had FIVE TEETH missing, the starter would just not
be able to crank the car past this. TWO TEETH is enough to create a
bad blank spot. I suspect the starter is fine too.

$750 for the starter also SOUNDS to high, but I don't know V8 prices...

WILL THEY REFUND THE PRICE OF THE SENSOR, SINCE IT WAS'NT THE PROBLEM ?

TRY SOME OTHER DEALER !!!!!!!!
