Maybe. Call Crutchfield, tell 'em what the car is. Crutchfield makes
a number of adapters for different cars... you'd get a connector that
plugs into the car's connector (in place of the stock radio), with
a bunch of color-coded wires at the other end, with labels. You'd
connect these to your Aiwa's connector.

One thing that comes to mind here... is it possible that there's a
separate amplifier for your rear speakers? Head units ("radios")
usually have an accessory turn-on wire (and it's often blue), that
is connected to the power antenna and external accessories (like
amplifiers), to raise the antenna and turn on the amps when the
head unit is turned on. It could be that this wire is broken
somewhere, or that it's fused and the fuse has blown.
