BTDT, and totally agree....  Bolting one in standard app, will give you
little more than weight.  Be careful on the weld in, tho, it's a protest
world out there, with lots of rule books and nerds with bond money, so
definitely go by the book.  You do have some leeway on the rear mount locale
(esp) that can help you get stiffer.....  You prolly have a SCCA fabricator
close by that can make a hoop/cage for you.....
