The 5k series has no metal beam, it is all plastic outer and a "fiberglass"
inner fender, the only metal being the piston mounting brackets..... My
PrORally Scirocco had the metal beam type inner, and yes you can hook lites
to it... I had made rubber plugs for the outer bumper (sits about 1/2 inch
higher than beam) and attached lite base to metal beam directly.... However,
I still used the "tie rods" to the upper housings to the front cross beam
under the hood....

If you want to run 100w bulbs in your lites, the shake problem is
exponential.... The bigger the reflector = shake prollum gets higher.....
Plastic mounting is just not steadi enough..... So, instead of seeing
further down the road, your eye fatigue will make you wish you did it right
the first time..... NJTH
