Yes.
It's the alarm system telling you it's engaged. There should be a
section on it in the owner's manual. The alarm activates when you
lock the driver's or passenger's door with a key from the outside.
It deactivates when you unlock with a key.

Could well be the O2 sensor. They are supposed to be replaced at 30K
miles, but usually last at least 50-100K. Other possible culprits:
bad spark plugs or old ignition wires.
