RE: Audi 5000 Door handle trouble
BTDT, my wife's 87 5KSQ had the same problem. Replace the handle for about
$30 each side in parts. The problem stems from the "trigger" part of the
handle being cast from white metal, low on durability. Not too hard to do,
just make sure you get the linkages hooked up correctly for the central
locking.
