5KTQ climate control mod?

I want to install a switch to force the fresh-air inlet valve closed
on-demand. This was easy with the 4K by opening the circuit to the electic
soleniod used to close the flapper-valve and installing a cockpit-mounted
switch. Can the same approach be used on an 88 5KTQ? Is the solenoid for the
fresh-air valve electric or pneumatic? If it is electric, can anyone
identify for me the correct wire, location and color to interrupt and
install a switch?
