I wouldn't try to do spririted driving on those million-mile tires. If
you drive carefully (e.g. you're in control), it's quite entertaining as
you'll be able to throw the car around. I suppose you can do that to
figure out your car's limit. But other than that, I would stay away from
those tires.

As far as Michelin is concerned, I would put it among the worst tires
I've experienced. THe only other tire I would put it worse than the
Michelin OEM (it was something like MXV2 or MXV4) is the Firestone OEM
tire (FR-something). These things' tread never decrease -- even with
aggresive driving. They did held air, though...

Performance and tread life never go hand in hand. It's one of those
inevitables in life. Tire technology is advancing -- but not that much
that those long-life tires will be used in race events (or everyday
driving -- for me). I ask, what's the point of getting a car with good
technology (Audi q) and put a set of miser tires on them? That's like
buying Yugo, waxing it every week and never take it out except when it's
sunny out.

Yugo, I go, we all go.

Cheers.
