Rich,

I have very little experience with plastic rads, but I did
replace the plastic end tank on an RX7 rad, and it worked rgeat for a
couple years, until I sold it. Personally, from that limited experience,
I ;like the plastic end tanks, adn the especially the aluminum cores.
They seem to last a long time, and are very light. The end tanks, if you
can get them, can easily be replaced. That was the trouble with the RX7
rad - Mazda wouldn't selll the end tank alone. I had to find one in a
wrecking yard, and install it myself.

This really is .02 worth. :-)
