RE: Oil change fun
Ya could do jest like one of the goons in my ol' college dorm, and leave
that earl in there like it was meant to be! There MUST be some kind of
*conspiracy* by the earl companies to force ya to change the stuff!
Obviously a case of the blades selling the razor, after all doesn't Shell
own GM? I guess if you drove your old Dad's '63 Impala, you would think like
that too!
Speaking of busted hood latches, my wife's old '87 5KSQ had a chronic
problem of the cable to the release coming out of its guides, causing it to
not have anything to pull against. A long screwdriver thru the gaps in the
grille to the latch got it open, so I could put another tie-wrap on to hold
it in place. About every three months was what it took...
