abs brakes 89Audi90Q

Good morning Audi lovers.

I just bought a 89 Audi 90 Q and one of the many features on it is (as I am sure you know)
ABS-brakes.  Last night I decided to check the from pads and found that it ordinary pads
installed.  It appears that the ABS harness attatched to the front end of the hub, was caped off
with a dust cap.   (I hope I am making sence here).  My question is this:

Does that dust cap a) srew off,  b) pry off,  and c) does the pig tail from the pad plug into the
socket that is presently caped off?  I would appreciate any feedback from any one, as I plan to
have the car safety inspected tomorrow, and I need to get these pads changed some time to
day.   Many thanks.
