     Possible control arm bushings....
     No matter what the sounds comes from, it's not normal and should be 
     looked at asap to prevent a bad situation from getting worse.

I've just bought (6-m) an Audi 4000CS-Quattro, which is the Ultimate 
Driving Machine (Sorry BMW).  But Mine has a clunk in the 
rear/drive-shaft, I think it only happens when there is a lot of power 
added to the system (such as rolling on a hill letting the clutch 
out....) Is this normal or should it be looked at ASAP??  My brothers 
320i does almost the same thing, I've never driven a rear wheel drive 
before (except the Fiero my dad had) but like I said I've never driven a 
rear wheel drive before!!!  It has 144k miles I bough it with 135k maybe 
this winter here in CT was to hard on it??
     
All the help that is sent will be used.
