Turbos at Altitude and a great book on turbos (technical stuff)

With all the talk on turbocharging theory lately (much of it incorrect IMHO),
I thought I would let you know of a book I found a while back. Its called
_Automotive Supercharging and Turbocharging Systems - A Technical Guide_, by
John D. Humphries. Its available from Motorbooks International at 1 800 826
6600. I found my copy at a local book store.

The book goes into a lot of theory, but is readable for the non
aerodynamicists.
There's even a compressor map from KKK on the Audi I5 w/ K26 - interesting
stuff . Unit descriptions are in German though not difficult to figure out
(especially wenn Sie Deutsch sprechen).

The Turbos at Altitude thread can use some of this info.

Happy reading!
