... just thought I'd post this quickly before the list traffic explodes 
with spurious additional traffic ...

I have already sent a message to Dan about the newcomer that appar-
ently is autoreplying to all of the mail coming from the quattro list.  
Please don't waste additional bandwidth on the list wondering who or 
why ... let Dan figure out what is going on ... or at least communi-
cate directly with Dan rather than posting to the list.

I apologize for the waste of bandwidth myself, but I'm hoping to 
avoid an e-mail volume explosion on the subject.
