This is why I don't like publications/services that don't take
the vehicles condition into consideration.
The Edmunds price seems to be Wholesale for a car in "Clean"
condition. To be considered "clean" the car can only have 15K
miles per year (based on fabrication date..NOT model year.)
And be in above normal condition. (subjective sometimes)
The Autosite price is Wholesale for a car in "Average" condition.
Same thing applies to the retail prices you've quoted above.
Plus you should add $125 for CD player, $400 for leather, and
deduct $500 for stick shift.
Best price stategy is to figure out how much above wholesale
you're willing to pay. Offer wholesale and work your way up
to your target price.
