Headermania

	Bryan makes a good point about economies of scale: Sell more =
Sell cheaper. HOWEVER, you are not taking orders for shifter knobs
here.  The way the manufacturing business runs is:  Identify a market;
R&D a prototype; Test,Test,Test the prototype / small production run;
document the advantages of the design, re-design around the little
monsters, Test,Test,Test some more THEN sell as many of the mothers as
you can. Where are the test results here?

	Eric brings up an important point when discussing Honda, et. al.,
and why they had someone else do the nut work on exhausts. Having been
up against Honda in the real world I can tell you it was not because they
could not afford the dyno time to make their own. Furthermore, Honda
does not lack engineers.

	Spend your money where you will, but hopefully we are all here
trying to help each other spend it wisely on performance parts for the
Audi. From the BTDT dept on headers, my advice is: do everything else
FIRST. The HP you hope to produce from a well designed header can be
bought much cheaper elsewhere.

Good Luck,

Bruce
