Re: What car is this? -+ radiator question



Reading the thread on the wannabe RS2 spotting reminds me of a recent 
visit to BMW's North American HQ (in NJ), where over lunch with my 
client, he mentioned the most popular aftermarket item they sell is the 
"M" badge.  I guess all those 318i owners want to think they have M3's.

>From the frustration department, I noticed a small 0.25 inch long crack 
in the top of my radiator.  Seems like I may have slightly over torqued 
the 13mm vent bolt on the top of the radiator and over time this crack 
occurred (isn't it tighten until it's stripped and then back off a 
quarter turn?:-O)  Has anyone ever tried to fix something like this?  
It's plastic, and every epoxy I've tried doesn't seem to like being in a 
200+ degree pressurized environment and eventually starts leaking.  
Ideas?
